Not every dog needs the same training. A fearful puppy needs something completely different from a reactive adult dog, and a dog struggling with aggression requires a different approach entirely. That is why Medina Dogs Training offers multiple board-and-train program tracks — each one built around a specific age, behavior challenge, and outcome goal.
Every program is structured, done-for-you, and built to produce results in real-world environments — not just inside a training facility. Whether your dog is eight weeks old or eight years old, we have a program that fits.

Our programs are built to create calm, reliable behavior in the situations that matter most, at home, on walks, and out in the real world. Whether you’re starting with a puppy, working through adolescent challenges, or addressing more complex behavior, each program is built around clear communication, consistent structure, and results that hold up over time.
We work with committed dog owners across the East Bay, Peninsula, Tri-Valley, Tracy, Stockton, and the greater Sacramento area with training based in Roseville.
A confident puppy with real home manners and an on-leash foundation
This program is for early development and everyday calm. We focus on the essentials that make puppy life easier, structure at home, crate and routine support, polite leash walking foundations, and age appropriate skills that reduce future problem behavior. You have a clear plan and the structure needed to keep momentum.
Calm walks, better focus, and dependable everyday obedience on leash
Designed for dogs who pull, ignore, jump, or feel chaotic in daily life. We build reliable on leash behavior, impulse control, and clear house manners, then proof it in real environments so it works when distractions show up.
Freedom with control, off leash reliability you can trust
For owners who want their dog to respond around real world distractions. We build high value engagement, recall reliability, and off leash expectations, then practice in progressively harder environments so the results are usable, not theoretical.
Real change for reactivity, fear, anxiety, and aggression
For serious challenges that require a deeper plan. We focus on emotional stability, controlled responses, and safer behavior in the moments that matter most. You will get clear management guidance plus step-by-step owner coaching so the progress continues at home.
Maintenance training and care for established clients
Available exclusively to Medina Dogs Training graduates. These services are designed to reinforce existing training, support continued success, and provide trusted care when needed. Options include structured Board & Train Refresh programs, along with boarding for qualified dogs. Availability and fit are confirmed during consultation.
Weekly classes ask you to become a skilled trainer in one hour per week. Board and train removes that burden entirely. Your dog lives with a professional trainer in a real home environment, receiving structured, focused training every single day — not just once a week in a single location.
The result is behavior that holds up in real life: on walks, in parks, around distractions, and in the everyday situations that matter most to your family.
This approach is especially effective for dogs with leash pulling, reactivity, and behavior challenges that have not responded to previous training. For dog owners across the East Bay, Silicon Valley, Stockton, and Sacramento, this is the structured, reliable solution you have been looking for. Ready to find the right fit?
