These services focus on real-world application, helping you maintain consistency and continue building on your dog’s foundation over time.

GRADUATE SERVICE

Graduate Board & Train Refresh

Program Overview:

Even the best-trained dogs can slip when routines change, life gets busy, or expectations loosen over time. Our Graduate Board & Train Refresh is designed exclusively for past Medina Dogs Training clients who need focused reinforcement, structure, and clarity, without starting from scratch.

Each refresh stay is customized case by case based on your dog’s history, current behavior, and your goals, and always includes professional training work plus an owner transition session to ensure skills transfer back home.

Training Focus:

  • Reinforcement of foundational obedience and household manners
  • Tune-ups on leash skills, place, crate work, and calm behavior
  • Targeted work on areas that have softened over time
  •  Personalized training with your original trainer when available

Eligibility:

Available exclusively to dogs who have completed a Medina Dogs Training board-and-train program.

Serving Sacramento & Inland Northern California

Medina Dogs Training has an active presence in Sacramento and the surrounding areas, with professional trainers who understand the pace and lifestyle of Sacramento dog owners. Whether you graduated from one of our board and train programs and want to continue building on results, or you’re coming to us for the first time and need a more targeted service, we’re here to help.

Our Sacramento-area clients often come to us after trying group classes or big-box training programs that didn’t address their dog’s specific needs. Our approach is personalized, structured, and focused on real-world environments — translates directly to life in Sacramento’s neighborhoods, parks, and suburbs.

From follow-up coaching sessions that keep your dog sharp to boarding with a trainer (where your dog isn’t just stored, they’re reinforced), every additional service we offer is built on the same philosophy: training that holds up in everyday life.

If you’re in Sacramento or surrounding area and want to know what’s available for your dog’s specific situation, get in touch — we’ll point you in the right direction.
