Policies & Privacy
Welcome to Medina Dogs Training! We believe in transparency, safety, and respect for both you and your dog. Please take a moment to review our policies, which help ensure a smooth, successful experience for everyone involved.
Client Expectations
To give your dog the best chance of long-term success, we ask that you:
- Share accurate information about your dog’s health, history, and behavior.
- Commit to follow-through and full participation in your training program.
- Provide food, medications, and personal items before your dog’s stay begins.
- Notify us of any health or behavior changes before drop-off.
- Be on time for drop-off and pick-up or give us a heads-up if there are delays.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
We only take a few dogs at a time to ensure personalized care. Your reservation blocks out a spot someone else could have used – please respect that by honoring your booking.
- Deposits are non-refundable.
- Cancellations 14+ days before the programcan roll your deposit over to a future booking (within 6 months).
- Cancellations within 14 daysresult in forfeiting the deposit.
- No-shows or cancellations within 48 hoursmay be charged 50% of the remaining program fee.
Refund Policy
Our training programs are highly customized and space-limited. Because of that, we don’t offer refunds once training begins.
- If your dog must go home early due to illness or emergency, we’ll do our best to reschedule remaining sessions.
- If your dog shows behavior that is unsafe or outside our scope, we may end training early and suggest a specialized referral. In rare cases, partial refunds may be considered.
- Note: Client participation is critical – results aren’t guaranteed without it!
Health & Safety Protocols
Your dog’s well-being is our top priority.
- Daily weight checks. If a dog loses 5% body weight, we adjust feeding and closely monitor.
- 10%+ weight loss triggers immediate vet consultation and owner contact.
- If your dog refuses food for 24–48 hours, we act quickly and notify you.
- All dogs must be up to date on vaccines and in good health upon arrival.
